Susan (Jones) Patnaude Memories January 22, 2011

Manuel,

Words cannot express the sympathy I have for you and your children.  Stacy touched so many lives in so many different ways.  I have such glorious memories from our days growing up on Times Avenue and Stacy became such an important part of that whole extended "family".  I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.  I have thought about you two so often through the years and all the fun I had when you all would let me, the little sister, tag along with you.

May you all find peace in God's embrace and know that you will be reunited someday.  Hold your children close and help them to always remember how much their mother loved them.  I am so very sorry for you, her family and all her many friends.

Our deepest sympathies to Stacy's wonderful children, Alex and Eric,  to Manny and to all the extended family of Stacy Martinez.  She was such a kindhearted and generous person; someone our family admired greatly because of her kindness, warmth, and generosity.  May you all find comfort in the countless memories of her amazing smile and delightful laughter.  God bless.

I am so sorry for the pain you are going through...  It is so very difficult to say goodbye to the ones we love...especially when it is way too soon.  I remember when I lost my little brother who died at 17, the pain was unbearable... People would tell me that in time, the pain will go away...  For me, it didn't happen right away, but eventually the hurt became less...  I also know that through God, He IS able to heal all wounds...if we open our hearts to Him and let Him.

"...Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences January 18, 2011

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.” 40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44 The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Our angel left us far too soon.  You and the kids have always been a part of my family and always will.  I know there are no words to comfort you in this most difficult time but I want you to know that I am and always will be here for you, all you need to do is reach out.  You are in my prayers and heart honey.

Love you,

Lil
